This is an area to describe the details of the event. Or you could have any information in here really, it just doesn't matter all that much. But the real test of an area like this is how much text it can actually hold. I mean, surely there must be limits. Right? Well if there are we sould probably display a Link Style.

Strategic Plan

The Long Range Planning Committee was formed in 2006 under the leadership of Jamie McLane to study the state of the Prish and develop a long range plan of action to take us to 2015, the year of our 300th anniversary. This committee interviewed 70 representatives parishioners, clergy and staff to find out what issues were on our corporate mind. The committee also studied the important forces acting on our parish.

In the fall of 2007, the Long Range Planning Committee conducted all parish and round table discussions on three subjects: Values of our parish, Goals for the parish and our Vision for the future. We paid attention to ideas that emerged from these sessions and have incorporated them into our Long Range Plan. The Vestry also conducted its own sessions on the goals of the parish and the specific actions needed to achieve them.

The result of all of these efforts is the Long Range Plan that is summarized in below pdf. It is a mark of our parish unity that many of the recommended actions came from all three sources and many are already  underway. The plan recognizes that everything we do starts with worshiping God. From this worship, we move toward caring for each other and caring for our resources of clergy, staff and church property. We then use our corporate strength to reach out to others less fortunate than we are on community, national and international levels.

Share Your Thoughts

Early in 2015, Frank formed a Strategic Planning Task Force to help identify the values and a vision for who we might become. This committee continues to meet regularly, as we begin to widen the conversation and ideas about who we are called to be in our next century of mission and ministry.

We have identified the values which we believe describe our community now and who we want to be in the future. These values are Joy, Generosity, Devotion, Humility, Welcome, Mentoring, Inspiration, Visionary, Authentic, Compassion, and Sustainability. In light of these values, we invite you to start thinking with us about the following questions deeply; both individually and in conversations with others. Please share your thoughts with us below:

Who is God calling you to be?
As a parish that is rich in talent, leadership, compassion and inspiration, how can we expand our discipleship, our service and share the gifts with which we have so generously been endowed?
