Christian Education - Overview
The mission of the Christian Education/Formation Commission is the spiritual formation of the Christian community of St. David’s through the ministry of teaching and offering of learning opportunities; to provide a loving and safe environment where all may live into the Baptismal Covenant. (ref. BCP 304-5)
Our vision is to create a nurturing environment and to attend to spiritual needs at all stages of faith development. This formation is enhanced by formal instruction, the experience of liturgy, and the intentional weaving our faith into our daily lives.
Special thanks to our vestry liaisons, Michael Brent, Marianne Cook, and Jeff McCallum, as we strive for a cooperative Ministry of Teaching and Learning, shared among the laity, St. David’s staff, and outside resources to meet objectives of an expanding the Commission, which oversees:
