Dr. Clair Rozier
A native of Washington, D. C., Clair Rozier is an accomplished organist, choral director and teacher. She holds an undergraduate degree from Goucher College, continued graduate studies at Cincinnati Conservatory and completed doctoral study at the Eastman School of music, where she was awarded the Performer’s Certificate. She later studied with Marie-Claire Alain earning the Prix d’Excellence from the Conservatoire National of Rueil-Malmaison in France. Dr. Rozier’s organ recitals have taken her to London, Paris, and the United States. She has taught organ, theory and church music at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where she was an assistant professor of music and later as director of music at Ardmore Presbyterian Church. Since starting at St. David’s Church in 1999 Dr. Rozier has developed a choir program for all ages.

Elaine Sonnenberg
Originally from Ohio, Elaine Sonnenberg is an experienced organist, choir director, and handbell choir director and has taught music to children and youth grades K-12 for many years. She most recently served as Church Music Intern at Trinity Episcopal Church, Bloomington, Indiana under Dr. Marilyn Keiser. Throughout her time in Bloomington she also worked with the Indiana University Children’s Choir Program, served as Organist for Beck Chapel, Indiana University, was an Associate Instructor in Piano for Indiana University, and co-founded and co-directed the Symphonic Bells of Bloomington. Ms. Sonnenberg is currently a doctoral candidate for the Organ Performance degree at Indiana University. Previously she earned her masters degree in Organ Performance from Indiana University and received a double bachelors degree in Organ Performance and Vocal Music Education from the University of Akron.
