Sundays, March 1st, 8th, & 15th
4:00-5:00pm in the Center for Spiritual Growth
This three part series will examine how a rule for monastic living written 1500 years ago can serve as a model for 21st century Christians seeking to live God-centered lives within faith communities, families, workplaces, and neighborhoods. Benedict of Nursia can instruct each of us how to incorporate the practical virtues of humility, prayer, stewardship, and, yes, obedience in ways that draw us closer to God and strengthen the communities in which we live. Join us to experience Lent by fashioning a contemporary Rule of Life through the teachings of the father of monasticism.
