When Jesus is in the Garden of Gethsemane with His first followers after the Last Supper, He invites them to keep watch with Him and pray in preparation for his betrayal and crucifixion. After our Maundy Thursday worship, we watch with Jesus in the vigil in prayer and silence through the night. When morning comes, we read the prayers for the morning and prepare to experience the Good Friday Liturgy. Throughout the night you are invited to come and watch and pray in the Chapel.
