Battle of the Clouds tour

St. David’s parishioners – the Men’s group is hosting an historic Revolutionary War tour of local battlefields and encampments on Saturday, December 6. This tour will be led by Michael Harris, author of “Brandywine” and “Germantown,” and will cover multiple local sites of importance. This is a great tour for highschool age kids so please consider bringing them as well!

The tour is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the starting point is the parking lot of Valley Forge Park visitors’ center. Please arrive by 8:45 a.m. so that we can start the tour on time. The cost is $35 a person, paid ahead.

There is no meal associated with this tour so please bring a snack and your insulated mug. Dress for weather with short walking tours between locations.

Volunteers are needed to bring their SUVs so we can carpool from Valley Forge and reduce the number of vehicles in our group – please contact Eric Stetson at 217-419-4703, if you can help in this manner.
