Description:  The Gift Shop Tombola multi-basket raffle is back for this year! Come and browse the many wonderful baskets we have set up in St. David's Hall, and don't forget to pick up your tickets at The Gift Shop! The Raffle will run from September 1st-October 6th, and winners will be picked at our annual fair.

Women of the Bible Book Group

Description: Come to St. David's Hall on Thursday, September 27 for "Women of the Bible", a kick off to a monthly evening Bible Study of the women in the Bible. We will be using "Bible Women: All their words and why they matter" by Lindsay Hardin Freeman. This event will be held on the last Thursday of each month, and light refreshments will be served .

Art Gallery New Artist Reception

Location: Gift Shop Hallway

Description: An opening reception for The Nature of Art, the newest exhibit at the Art Gallery of St. David’s Episcopal Church, Wayne, takes place on Friday, September 28th. Within this exhibit, the presentations of two professional artists, Jeanne Gunther and Beverly Kratzel, hang in a manner that allows them to enhance one another. Nature is the dominant theme. Beverly’s richly colored oil painted landscapes are a perfect contrast to Jeanne’s lively charcoal sketches featuring her signature black crows. Refreshments will be provided.

Godly Play Training

Description: In an age where we feel we need to meet children in their high-tech world, Godly Play is a unique way to present the beautiful and eloquent truths of the Bible in a very simple, natural form with no bells or whistles. Using the principles of learning in the Montessori method, we respond to the child’s request to ‘help me do it by myself. This puts the teacher in the role of spiritual supporter or guide who fully accepts that each child has his or her own relationship with God already. Quiet Day: "Sacred Pause"

Description: The St. David's Center for Spiritual Growth invites you to take a "Sacred Pause" on September 29th from 10:00-12:00pm. Choose from the following opportunities: At 10:00 Exercise with Faith with Endre Witthoeft, a self-guided nature walk, or an experience with the Labyrinth facilitated by Louise Haley. At 11:00 join Endre for a sacred walk through our beautiful grounds or learn how to pray through a Labyrinth walk with Louise. Take thirty minutes, an hour, or two hours to refresh your spirit!

167th Annual Country Fair & Auction

Description: St. David's 167th Fair is the longest running church fair in the nation. Join us for a day of family fun and remarkable treasures. Get there early for great finds in the Fleas, Books and Second Hand Rose stalls and stay for the great food with everything from burgers and chili to omelets. Joy! A Service for Children & Families

Description: Children of all ages - especially preschool and early elementary, along with their families, are invited to the chapel on the first Sunday of every month at 4:00 pm for a Children's Eucharist. We will sing joyful children's songs, learn about Gospel stories, and share in an interactive, educational Eucharist. All children and families are welcome!

High School Youth Group: Terror Behind the Walls at the Eastern State Penitentiary

Men's Birds & BBQ Event

Location: Frank's House & Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays

Description: Come join the Saint David's Men's Fellowshipfor a fun filled day of Sporting Clays shooting at the famous Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays facility, followed by a BBQ hosted by Frank Allen, our Rector, at his home that evening.  Gun rental and ammunition not included, but loaner guns are available through LHVSP for $12.00 additional if needed. If a loaner is needed, you must purchase their ammunition. Golf carts limited to the first 20 men who sign up.
