The Alpha Course at St. David's

Description: Back by popular demand, St. David’s will be holding an Alpha course beginning in early 2019! For those who have never heard of it, the Alpha course is an evangelistic course which seeks to introduce the basics of the Christian faith through a series of talks and discussions. It is described by its organizers as "an opportunity to explore the meaning of life".

The Art Gallery Exhibit:

Colors of Nature

Location: The Gift Shop Hallway

Description: Whether a rushing stream, hounds headed for the barn, a tree clad in snow, clouds hanging heavy or red apples in the table, Lindsay DuBarry’s oil painted depictions of the beauties of nature share techniques of broad brush strokes and rich color. The “oreo” cows are not timid and the rocks are not soft.

“Colors of Nature“ will hang Friday, January 4 and an Artist’s reception will follow on Friday, January 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The exhibit will continue through Sunday, February 17th.

Learn to Knit Days

Description:  Learn to knit hats, prayer shawls, and prayer squares for oncology patients and babies with the Plentiful Sowers ministry. The group will be hosting a few ‘learn to knit’ days in January, and we would love for you to join us! Martin Luther King Youth Day of Service

Wetlands Work Party

Description: Men and women of all ages are welcome to this month's All Parish Work Day! We are looking for people to pull and cut invasive vines in their dormant state, set flags to mark roots, and indoor food prep. Orlando Choir Concert

Description: St. David’s Men’s Fellowship welcomes Reverend John (Jack) F. Koepke III to will lead us in how to live the Christian Life. Jack’s ministry is focused on congregational health and vitality. In his words, a congregation is at its gospel best “when it is able to turn itself inside out – by seeing the whole neighborhood in which it is located as the parish, and the members of the congregation as missioners in and among the parish.” We convene Friday afternoon at the Donaldson Brown House for some drinking beers and shooting pool.
