Summer Camps at St. David’s:
Music Camp and Vacation Bible School
June 15-19, 2026
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Join in for a fun week of spiritual growth through music, arts, crafts, and fellowship!

We are excited to offer an amazing full day of camp between Music Camp and Vacation Bible School (VBS) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the week of June 15-19, 2026 (Monday-Friday) You can sign up for Music Camp, Vacation Bible School, or both to make a full day. Both camps are for children in Pre-kindergarten (4 years old) thru rising 6th Grade.
Here is our daily schedule for our Summer Camps:
9 a.m. – 12 noon: Music Camp
Join Music Camp for a week of making music for fun and to the glory of God. Each day will include musical education, singing, instrumental music making and more. Campers will work daily towards a final musical presentation on Friday afternoon, to which family and friends are invited. This year’s musical is “Once Upon a Parable.” This musical features stories like the wise and the foolish builders, the good Samaritan, the mustard seed, and the workers in the vineyard.
- Learn to use handbells and other instruments
- Instructors: Kathy Wagner, Dr. Elaine Sonnenberg Whitelock, Stephen Christner, and Dr. Andrea Boudra
12-12:30 p.m.: BYO Brown bag lunch
12:30-3 p.m.: Vacation Bible School
Rainforest Falls – Exploring The Nature of God
Step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a lifelong adventure of discovering the nature of God. They’ll explore what it means to be rooted in relationship with God, their creator, a safe place in life’s storms. The children will rotate through the following:
- Sing & Play Tune Lagoon
- Rooted Bible Adventure
- Imagination Station
- Wild Games
- Sticky Scripture
- Treetop Treats
- Canopy Closing
The camps costs $160.00 each or $320.00 for both.

Vacation Bible School Volunteers Wanted!
There are volunteer opportunities for adults and youth.
We’re seeking adult (age 18+) and youth (age 14-17) volunteers for St. David’s Vacation Bible School 2026! Serve as a role model and join in the fun as our young people grow in their faith!
ADULTS: VBS will run for five days, June 15-19, and we are looking for volunteers who may be available one day, two days, or all five days, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Your help would be greatly appreciated in a variety of roles—whether leading a class, shepherding a crew of children from one activity to another, or assisting where needed. If applicable, adults who volunteer can have one child attend for free.
The classes we need led are:
- Sticky Scripture: Immerse kids in the daily Scripture so they understand God’s Word, apply it to their lives, and remember it for years to come!
- Imagination Station: the sciency-fun spot for creativity, discovery, and unbe-leaf-able faith connections!
- Treetop Treats:Â Treetop Treats provides kid-approved snacks everyone will want to get their paws on.
We also need adults, working with a youth helper, to serve as Crew leaders, guiding the campers around to each of the stations above, plus Rooted Bible Adventures, Wild Games, and in the Rainforest Falls Sing & Play Lagoon and Canopy Closing events bookending the day!
YOUTH (Must be aged 14 by June 1, 2026): This is a great opportunity to deepen your own faith life and take on a mentoring position! Younger kids love to look up to older kids as their role models, even when there are adults around. We’re looking for youth to assist adult Crew Leaders and also to help out in Imagination Station, Sticky Scripture, or lead Wild Games. If desired, you can earn service hour credit for your school, service club, etc.
ADULTS & YOUTH: If you have a preference for what role you’d like to play, or if you have specific scheduling needs, please add them in the field provided. Also, all volunteers may need to pass background or training checks. Additional details will be shared by the program leaders.
PLEASE note we have a breakfast meeting on Sunday, June 7th before the 9:15 a.m. service where all our volunteers will receive a blessing from the clergy.
Youth Retreat
Youth Retreat
June 25-29, 2026
This summer we will be taking a youth retreat to New River Gorge WV. This trip is open to all students entering 8th grade (13 years old and up). This retreat is a time of fellowship, faith formation, and adventure. We will be returning to stay with our partners at Adventures on the Gorge for events like ziplining, white water rafting, hiking and more.
The trip will be an extended weekend retreat (Thursday-Monday) June 25-29. The cost of the trip is $900 which covers all transportation, food, and activities. When registering on Realm please make sure to at least pay the $200 deposit. You are also welcome to pay the full amount now. If you plan on fundraising you can wait to pay any additional amount.

Please note we have three cabins reserved that are not co-ed. We will fill cabins in groups of six participants, first come first serve. ​
