Handel’s Messiah Concert with Orchestra

Our annual Advent Choral Concert: Messiah Part I and “Hallelujah” Chorus by George F. Handel will be performed by the St. David’s Adult Choir, soloists, and a professional chamber orchestra. This grand oratorio, inspired primarily by texts from the Book of Isaiah, tells the story of the promise of the Messiah, birth of Jesus, and Christ’s life and ministry. The Advent/Christmas portion of this three-part masterpiece will be performed, concluding with the popular and familiar “Hallelujah Chorus.”
