Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. – Galatians 6:2
I have a quick question for you…Can you be a good Christian alone? I want to encourage you to think about this. In a world that is increasingly trying to separate us from each other, I think this question is so important to think about… and answer.
What are the things that you do that draw people together? What are the things that you do that push people away? I think that in order to really live into the Christian life we must do it in community, church community, and the communities that you form in other parts of your life. I think we, you and I, are called to take up this charge to build more communities in Christ’s name.
I think this verse from Galatians is helpful in this endeavor of building community. We are meant to help one another, grow together, share our burdens with Christ, and also share them with each other. We are meant to support one another and to love one another! We are in this together!
I hope you have a blessed week!
