Blessing of the Animals – St. David’s Fair
If you’re bringing your pets with you to the Fair (we’re dog friendly!) stop by St. David’s booth from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. where our clergy will be available to offer you and your pets a blessing.
St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals, and his feast day (annually on October 4) is celebrated with a blessing of animals and prayers for creation. It is an annual reminder of the gift of creation, and specifically of the animals with whom we share our lives. All are welcome to join us!
