Chester Eastside New Volunteer Training
This orientation will be held after services on Sunday, September 21 and will provide a comprehensive overview of the program. We will discuss the demographics of those experiencing food insecurity in Chester, highlighting the specific challenges faced by vulnerable populations. Furthermore, we will detail the operational procedures for us to serve on-site. These food distributions feature the casseroles prepared by the Women’s Feeding Ministry which takes place every second Monday of the month at 10 a.m. in St. David’s kitchen.
The orientation will offer a valuable opportunity to learn about the program’s impact and how you can contribute to our efforts to combat hunger in Chester. We will also be available to answer any questions you may have.
Please note that this orientation is required in order to attend our our next on-site opportunity to serve on Tuesday, September 23.
