This week, we were able to support our outreach partner, St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church with a number of donations.
The second-hand air conditioners pictured with Father Jorge will be going to families in need of an air conditioning unit. It’s not an exaggeration to say that these could save a life in the kind of heat we’ve been experiencing this year.
The zuchinni squash from the St. David’s garden will be given out during St. Gabriel’s feeding ministry held on Saturdays. The women in the photo are members of the congregation that help with the feeding ministry.
Finally, we had a case of Spanish-language Children’s Bibles through St. David’s Gift Shop which will be used in St. Gabriel’s new ministry to Spanish speaking families.
Thank you to everyone who had a part in making these donations happen, from the person who donated the air conditioners to the gardeners who grew the squash to everyone who contributes financially to our mission and ministry.
