UPDATE: September 2025
The Outreach Commission is excited to announce that we will start a feeding ministry at Chester Eastside, Inc. (CEI) in Chester, Pennsylvania, a food desert. The organization is located in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on East 9th Street. CEI currently holds four lunches during the week and they are hoping that St. David’s will be in a position to adopt a day so that they may increase to five days a week.
Our first opportunity to serve will be next Tuesday, August 19, carpooling from St. David’s at 9 a.m. We will have a brief, required orientation at St. David’s the day before on Monday, August 18 at 10 a.m. in the Conference Room, hosted by the Executive Director of Chester Eastside, Inc., the Rev. Andy Jacob and St. David’s ministry leader, Tracey Smith.

If you feel called to support the desperate need to address hunger in our area please register for next week’s events by calling or emailing the Rev. Tanya Regli (610.688.7947 x218). Even if you are not available to serve on August 19 but will hope to in the future, please attend the orientation on August 18.
If you want to assist this feeding ministry, but are not able to serve at the lunches in person, you can also join the Women’s Feeding Ministry in preparing casseroles on the second Mondays of each month at 10 a.m. here in St. David’s kitchen.
