Easter Outreach: Focus on Food

We have been partnering with several local organizations in Chester, Philadelphia, and Norristown, to feed people in need. We are also in need of hot meals for our After School Program. Please see below for details.

Community Feeding Ministries

Our parishioners make more than 6,000 meals every year for those experiencing hunger and homelessness in our area. We always welcome non-perishable food donations for the food pantries and volunteers for these ministries. Non-perishable food items may be dropped off at any time in the entrance to our Reception lobby.

Cooks wanted for St. David’s After School Program

St. David’s has restarted the After School Program with teachers and students of Wayne Elementary School. The program runs on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:15 to 5:30 p.m. Along with tutoring, a hot meal is provided. For some, this meal will be the only hot meal of their day. Volunteers are needed to help us make meals for the students. They can either be made ahead for reheating, or made on- site. Details at the sign up link below.
