The Quiet, Servant Faith of St. Joseph
O God, who from the family of your servant David raised up Joseph to be the guardian of your incarnate Son and the spouse of his virgin mother: Give us grace to imitate his uprightness of life and his obedience to your commands; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who...

Easter Sunday
The Resurrection of Our Lord
April 5, 2026
6:30 a.m. | Outdoor Chapel in the Arboretum
The Great Vigil of Easter would typically last through the night until sunrise, when we would rejoice with the first “Alleluias,” and hear the resurrection, Gospel. Join us in the wee hours of Easter Sunday, when the women would have wandered toward the tomb to anoint Jesus’ body, finding out that he was not there but had risen! This will be a contemplative service in our Outdoor Chapel in the arboretum.
8 a.m. & 5 p.m. | Church
9:15* a.m. & 11:30 a.m. | Chapel (*Livestream at 9:15 a.m. only)
9:30 a.m. | Family Worship| Allen Hall
The Day of Resurrection, Easter, comes with boisterous celebration at Christ’s resurrection. We always have special music and Holy Eucharist (Communion) at all worship services. Even though the first Easter was quiet as Jesus’ followers were figuring out just what God had done, from our perspective, nearly 2,000 years later, we understand more fully and celebrate. For the next 50 days we celebrate Christ’s resurrection (as we do each Sunday through the year) in the presence and love of the Risen Christ who is with us always.
