Christian Formation is a lifelong journey of faith that welcomes you just as you are. Whether you’re exploring, asking questions, or seeking to grow in your daily discipleship, you’ll find opportunities in small groups, Bible study, lecture series, prayer groups, and more. Each offers a way to encounter God’s love, share in community, and walk in faith—rooted in Scripture and Episcopal tradition.
Children, Youth, & Family
“Train children in the way they should go; when they grow old, they won’t depart from it.”
Proverbs 22:6
Christian Formation is an essential lifelong process. St. David’s recognizes the home as the primary place of faith formation and strives to support you and your family by providing a range of opportunities to grow together in faith and community. Learn and fellowship both in age-level groups and via intergenerational activities and resources.
Programming at St. David’s includes Sunday worship and education as well as youth groups, choirs, outreach, and social engagement. These programs are designed to grow and evolve as your kids develop, starting in Pre-K (age 4) through high school, with social gatherings, youth groups, summer camps, and youth trips to build community and explore Christian beliefs together. Our yearly preparation for confirmation includes active one-on-one mentoring for the newest members of the Body of Christ.
Adult Christian Formation
“Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.
~ Romans 12:2 (NRSVUE)

Music
“Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works!”
~ Psalm 105:2
If music is important to your worship experience, you’ll find a variety of styles offered throughout the year both on Sundays and at special events. No matter your age there’s also a place for you participate in worship and music leadership. The music programs at St. David’s offer opportunities for children, youth, and adults (ages 4 and up) to lead through vocal and instrumental music expression. Through participation in our choir program, singers and ringers have the opportunity to grow in their faith, develop musical skills, work together in a group setting and provide musical leadership for the congregation. The choirs all rehearse weekly, lead worship on a regular basis, and participate in special services throughout the year. Many of our choirs are involved in community outreach and tour both regionally and internationally.
