Every communication, no matter how simple or intricate, requires advance planning and organization. Our desire is to help you plan a successful campaign which aligns with our mission, ministries, and strategic priorities.
Our communications requests have recently changed. Please carefully read the information below.
Communications Request Procedure
- Event Host submits a Communications Request Inquiry form, which is available below. This is an inquiry only and does not mean your request is approved or reserved.
- Director of Communications receives and reviews the Communications Request Inquiry form.
- Director of Communications holds a weekly meeting with Chief Operating Officer to review Communications Requests. These are either approved, under review (in consultation with the Rector/Vicar), deferred, or denied.Â
- Requestees will be notified of communications approval status within ten business days.
Additional Notes
- Communications requests for Events held at St. David’s should FIRST fill out an Event Request Planning form. Your event communications request will not be reviewed until after your event has been approved.Â
- This form may be used for updated or additional Communications-specific requests for events, or requests not directly tied to an event (like a sale, content update on a website page, general ministry promotion, etc.).
- For events, we strongly recommend that you submit your request a minimum of 45 days ahead of your event’s registration deadline or before the event itself if there is no registration required. If you have a larger promotions request, such as including mailings, printed materials, or external promotion (outside the parish community), we suggest an even longer lead time.
- The other activities and promotions taking place leading up to, or proximate to, your event will be taken into consideration when determining how much of your request can be met.
- If you have any questions about event planning, please contact your Staff Liaison.
