RAIN OR SHINE, ALL ARE WELCOME!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 4th and join us at the St. David’s Fairgrounds for a day of fun for the whole family! The St. David’s Church Country Fair, now in its 174th year, is the longest, continuously running church fair in the USA and is held annually the first Saturday in October. Each year 100% of the Fair’s proceeds are donated to deserving Delaware Valley and Philadelphia organizations, as well as our international partners in Cuba, Guatemala, and Uganda. We invite you to join the over 3500 visitors drawn annually to the St. David’s Church Country Fair and become part of this enjoyable and worthwhile community event. All are welcome!

Volunteer & Make New Friends!
Get involved now:
Preparations for Fair Day get underway many months before October! Booth committees have already been busy sorting through the many donations and planning for the big day.
Get involved Fair Week:
Become one of the hundreds of volunteers who come together each year to make the St. David’s Church Country Fair happen. There are many jobs and opportunities to help depending on your schedule and area of interest. We need volunteers for everything from set-up the week before to being on hand Fair Day. Bake a cake for the “Cake Walk”, meet to cook batches of chili, polish furniture at the Auction Tent, join our Decorations Committee, be a short-order cook at McDavid’s, sign-up to work a booth time slot or two…no matter your interest, there is a job for YOU!
Here’s how to sign up:
If you are interested in getting involved, please sign up online here. Not sure where you fit? Reach out to our volunteer chairs, Shamrock Kennedy and Kat Frank and we will work with you to identify opportunities that fit with your availability.
Outreach Partners…
The Reason We Hold the St. David’s Country Fair
Each year 100% of proceeds from the Fair are distributed to our Outreach Partners. The St. David’s Outreach Commission receives and reviews grant requests each December/January and distributes them as St. David’s Care Grants. Grantees are both local and international organizations. Click here to read about the 2024 recipients. Organizations interested in applying for St. David’s Care Grant awards are invited to click here to review application criteria and timing.
Can’t make it to the Fair this year, but still want to support our mission? Make a financial contribution!
Admission
Our admission fee is $5 per person, maximum of $20 per household. Veterans and volunteers are free. Please purchase your wrist band at either of the entrances.
Admission fees all go to support our outreach partners!
Parking
Free parking is available in the church lots and the large field on the corner of Church Road and South Valley Forge Road. Access to field parking is from the Church Road side.
Cash is best…but…
This is a Country Fair! We like money the old-fashioned way! Please note that CASH is BEST at the Fair – even though we take credit cards at many booths, some booths are entirely cash-only! That said, we know that IF we want to keep hosting this Fair for another 173 years, we need to evolve. We will accept Apple Pay and Google Pay at limited locations.
