St. David’s Episcopal Church announces 2026 outreach grant recipients
This February, St. David’s Episcopal Church awarded $152,000 in grants to eleven local organizations and two international Episcopal partners through its St. David’s Cares Grant program. This is an increase of $12,000 and two organizations over last year’s granting cycle. These grants go to organizations within the Greater Philadelphia region or known international partners and are funded by St. David’s Outreach Endowment, the proceeds from the St. David’s Annual Church Fair, proceeds from the Gift Shop & Art Gallery at St. David’s, and individual donations to the World Gifts program.
This year’s St. David’s Cares grantees are:
Alianzas de Phoenixville to fund the food and essentials program for food insecure immigrants.
Episcopal Community Services toward expanding their food access programs providing basic needs to low income West Philadelphians.
Episcopal Legal Aid to cover unreimbursed legal expenses not waived by the courts for clients of their legal clinics.
Family Promise of the Main Line to expand prevention, diversion, and stabilization services needed by families to avoid a housing crisis.
Main Line Meals on Wheels to subsidize the cost of delivering meals to homebound people unable to pay the full costs.

St. David’s Cares Grant applications are open each year in December, with applications reviewed in mid-January and grants announced to recipients in February. St. David’s outreach committee, made up of church members, and guided by a chairperson and Associate Rector, The Rev. Tanya Regli, oversee the grant program, one part of St. David’s overall outreach impact in the local community. Preference for grants is given to organizations affiliated with the Episcopal (Anglican) Church; organizations that involve St. David’s parishioners, with the potential of increasing volunteer opportunities for parishioners; programs that promote or assist self-sufficiency; specific project needs that have a clear start and finish; and for organizations that are located within the Philadelphia, Delaware, Montgomery, Bucks, or Chester counties in Pennsylvania, or our international partner sites.
