The Rev. Rick Morley
Rector
The Rev. Rick Morley came to St. David’s from St. Mark’s Church in Basking Ridge, NJ where he served since 2009. Rick grew up a United Methodist in Ocean City, NJ and he was introduced to The Episcopal Church in college. He has a BA in psychology from St. Joseph’s University and a Master of Divinity from The Candler School of Theology at Emory University. He is married to Karen, who is a licensed social worker, and they have two adult daughters, Zoe and Mattie. He enjoys home brewing, keeping chickens, and tennis.

The Rev. Thomas J. Szczerba, Jr.
Vicar
The Reverend Thomas J. Szczerba, Jr. has served St. David’s since August 2022. He helps lead fellowship, pastoral care, and newcomer ministries, and also leads the Tuesday morning Bible study. Thomas serves on the Board of Trustees at Episcopal Community Services.
Thomas graduated from the General Theological Seminary in New York City in May 2020 and served as a deacon and priest at Grace Church Manhattan before coming to St. David’s.
Thomas is married to Marissa, a school teacher, and together they have one child, Zion. They enjoy time with their two dogs, Luke and Leia, watching baseball (Go Yankees!), going to the beach, and being with friends and family.

The Rev. Tanya Regli
Associate Rector
The Rev. Tanya Regli serves as the clergy co-chair for the Outreach Commission, the chaplain for St. David’s Episcopal Day School (SDEDS), and the clergy lead for the Family Service. She has a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, as well as a Master of Social Service and a Master of Law and Social Policy from Bryn Mawr College. She brings 30+ years of non-profit management experience, as well as having served at Grace Epiphany Episcopal Church (Priest in Charge), St. John’s Episcopal Church at Diocesan Center (Seminarian in Residence), and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (Clinical Pastoral Education). She met her husband of 30+ years, Brian, a Philadelphia native, at Georgetown University. She grew up in Colombia and Venezuela. She enjoys spending time with her family, including her children, Gabriel, 26, an artist, and Andrea, 23, a musician and engineer. She loves singing, playing guitar, and cooking, as well as the company of the family dog and two cats.

The Rev. Anne Alexis Harra
Assistant Rector
The Rev. Anne Alexis Harra comes to St. David’s after graduating from Virginia Theological Seminary (VTS) with her master’s in divinity. She is currently a transitional deacon, and is continuing on the path to be ordained a priest (God willing and people consenting). Anne Alexis serves as the clergy lead for Family Ministries and Fellowship ministries. Prior to seminary, she served as a professional children, youth, and family minister.
Anne Alexis is a cradle Episcopalian and was raised in the church. In seminary, she had the privilege of doing her field education and serving for two years as the seminarian at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Burke. In addition, Anne Alexis served as a sacristan in the chapel department at VTS, where she made some of her best friends. She loves Jesus, Baptism-Eucharist, liturgy, studying the Scriptures, and serving God’s people. She is the daughter of Amy and Rick, her guiding light; the godmother to Will and Brian; and the proud mom to her “teeny tiny tabby cat” Nellie.

The Rev. Nancy Webb Stroud
Priest Associate
The Rev. Nancy Webb Stroud and her husband, Bill Stroud, raised their children, Julia, William, and Edward at St. David’s, as Bill was the property manager here from 1985 to 1998. St. David’s sponsored Nancy for ordination more than two decades ago. After serving at St. Mary’s Chester, St. Paul’s Chestnut Hill, and St. Peter’s in the Great Valley, she was called as rector of the Church of the Atonement in Westfield, Massachusetts in 2009. She served there for 12 and a half years and also had several roles within the Diocese of Western Massachusetts, among them Assistant Chaplain at Westfield State University and three-time Deputy to General Convention. She retired from full-time active ministry in 2022 and joined St. David’s as part-time priest associate. Bill and Nancy are very happy to be living so close to their sons and their partners here in southeastern Pennsylvania and only a couple of hours away from Julia, her wife Caitlin, and grandsons, Harry and Gus, in New York.

Geoff Chamberlain
Broadcast Manager
Geoff is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of video, audio, lighting, and scenic production for church wide events. He provides video and livestream support for the Wednesday and Sunday services, as well as for weddings, funerals, and other special events. Geoff has been a longtime member of St. David’s Church, is a Choir member and a past Rector’s Warden.

Roe is the staff liaison for background checks and clearances, memorial flowers, and donations. Roe maintains the parish database and prints the Sunday bulletins.

Diane Dowlin
Office Manager/Calendar Coordinator
Diane manages the church calendar by scheduling all meetings and events and coordinates event set up requests with the Property Department. She also supports Christmas and Lent Holiday Outreach, and the Outreach Grant Program.

Robin Ford
Interim Head of School, St. David’s Episcopal Day School
Robin Ford holds a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Rider University and has over 20 years of Preschool teaching and leadership experience. Robin most recently spent 13 happy years as the Assistant Director and Lead PreK teacher at Wayne Presbyterian Nursery School, only leaving when she and her husband, Michael, relocated to Amsterdam for five years. Upon returning to the States in 2021, Robin joined SDEDS as a substitute teacher. During this time, she also substituted at the Shipley Lower School. Many of you remember “Miss Robin” as she served as our Chapel Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Robin and Michael are the parents of three adult sons and three (adorable) grandchildren. Robin is currently serving on the Vestry and is the Junior Warden at St. David’s Episcopal Church. She is also on the Advisory Board of St. David’s Episcopal Day School and helps with Newcomers. Robin enjoys teaching and seeing the world through the eyes of young learners, teaching exercise classes, gardening, knitting and spending time with and showing pictures of her grandchildren.

Matt Grove
Property and Graveyard Manager
Matt supervises all of the grounds of St. David’s 40 acre campus. He directs the lawn care, tree work, grass cutting, tree trimming, weeding, gutter cleaning and snow removal on all roads, walk ways and pathways. Matt also maintains the exteriors of the church, chapel and offices, Parish House, Rectory, Day School and sheds as well as the crypts, mausoleums and graves in the graveyard. Matt sells the plots in the Graveyard and manages the card catalog database for the graveyard as well as overseeing all body burials and ash internments. Matt also coordinates all of the tents, tables and chair set ups for the Fair.

Dina Harvey
Worship Administrative Assistant
Dina Harvey has over 26 years of experience within the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania and serves as president of the Diocesan Altar Guild. Dina supports the worship team and maintains the Parish Registry for baptism, confirmation, wedding, and funeral records. Dina produces all worship bulletins, schedules Lay Assistants for participation in services, maintains the Intercessor Prayer List, and interacts with families planning baptisms and memorial services. In her spare time, she loves reading history and religion. She is an avid Phillies and 49ers fan, and her happiest moments are when she is spending time on the beach.

Natalee Hill
Director of Communications
Natalee is responsible for the development, coordination, and brand consistency of all published electronic and print communications for the Church. This includes oversight of bulletin graphic design and announcements, emails, seasonal publications including Lenten devotional and quarterly Dove publication, the Annual Report, and internal and external posters and banners. She maintains the St. David’s website, parish and community publicity, and the implementation of new technology, as it relates to parish communication.

Jeffrey Johnson
Groundskeeper
Jeff works outside May-October assisting the Property Department with groundskeeping. November-April, he works inside completing handyman tasks for the campus buildings, as well as helping with set-ups, custodial tasks, and other projects.

Joy Karsner
Chief Operating Officer
Joy joined the St. David’s team in January 2025 and oversees the church’s financial, property, and personnel operations, including the management of the graveyard. She is a member of the Finance, Property, and Stewardship Commissions and is continually seeking new ways to strengthen processes and improve the efficiency of church operations.
With a passion for organization, education, and helping nonprofits fulfill their missions, Joy brings a wealth of experience in operations and administration. Her background includes serving as Chief Operating Officer of a Philadelphia charter school, Assistant Director of Development at the Walnut Street Theatre, and Interim Director of Philanthropy and Director of Communications and Marketing at a regional human services nonprofit.
A lifelong learner, Joy holds an Executive MBA from Villanova University, a Master of Public Administration (Nonprofit Administration) from West Chester University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Penn State University. She is also a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the American Society for Public Administration. Joy currently serves as secretary of the board of directors for the Delaware County Literacy Council.
Joy lives in Springfield, PA, with her three teenage children and a house full of pets. In her free time, she enjoys crossword puzzles, cheering for the Phillies, traveling, and reading.

Chris King
Facilities Supervisor
Chris sets up and breaks down the many events at St. David’s. His responsibilities include the preparation and general cleaning of all worship spaces and common areas. He works with the Altar Guild and the Flower Guild to ensure preparation for worship, weddings and funerals. Chris serves up coffee and a smile every Wednesday through Sunday.

Logan Klawitter
Groundskeeper
Logan maintains the grounds of St. David’s campus as well as the Rectory. He mows the lawns, removes leaves, weeds beds, trims trees, and plows snow throughout the year. During the months of November through March, Logan works in the main building setting up and breaking down tables and chairs. In his free time, Logan enjoys fishing and watching NASCAR.

Grace Oh Kraybill
Music Administrator/Librarian
Grace serves as the administrative support to the music ministry, assisting the Director of Music and the choirs, maintaining the Music Library, as well as being a member of the St. David’s bulletins team. Having years of experience as a project manager of large architectural projects, she brings to her position at St. David’s a talent for organization, as well as a depth of knowledge in graphic design and public relations. Having studied piano and been a classical music enthusiast since childhood, she loves working in the music department.
Grace earned a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M. Arch. from Washington University, St. Louis. An active member of the American Guild of Organists’ Philadelphia Chapter, she served as Communications Coordinator for six years. Her personal interests include Mid-Century Modern design, sewing, and learning about other cultures.

Maria Leal
Director of Children’s Formation
Maria oversees the Sunday Formation Program for children in Pre K- grade 5, The Edge 4th and 5th grade fellowship, as well as the Children’s Sermon and Wednesday evening children’s formation offerings held alongside the children’s choirs. Maria is involved in Vacation Bible School, the Shrove Tuesday Supper, the Easter Egg Hunt and a variety of developmentally-appropriate ways for our children, youth, and their families to grow in their faith.

Julieann Perez
Finance Assistant
Julieann came to St. David’s in January 2024, from the Spring City Public Library. She supports our finance office with multiple functions including invoices, giving, and event payments. Julieann graduated from Owen J. Roberts High School in 2017 and has worked at numerous jobs gaining experience in several different areas. Outside of work she loves going to the gym, taking nature walks when the weather permits, and spending time with her friends and family.

Sharon Shuttleworth
Executive Assistant to the Rector
Sharon manages the rector’s appointment schedule and assists with organizational tasks. She also manages the front office and ensures that it runs smoothly and efficiently. She greets and serves customers, answers calls, and maintains a professional atmosphere. Sharon performs a wide variety of administrative tasks and duties to support church operations and coordinates the Vestry. She contributes to the planning and implementation of the total ministry of the congregation.

Kathy Wagner
Associate Director of the Choristers
Kathy Wagner will be the director of the Children’s Choir (grades 2-5), assistant director of the Primary Choir and Youth Choir, and will regularly coordinate music for the Children’s Sermon and Godly Play. Kathy is an alto section leader in the St. David’s Adult Choir and directs our Youth and Children’s Choir musical every spring. Kathy Wagner has over 35 years of experience teaching music at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels and is currently a music teacher for the Philadelphia Academy Charter School, Philadelphia, PA.

Elaine Sonnenberg Whitelock, D.M.
Director of Music
Elaine Sonnenberg Whitelock has served at St. David’s since the summer of 2012, first as Associate Director of Music until June of 2024, and then as Director of Music starting in 2025. Elaine overseas the planning and coordination of all the music at St. David’s, in consultation with the rector, and supervises all the music ensembles of the parish in collaboration with the music staff. She directs the Adult Choir, Youth Choir (grades 6-12), the Primary Choir (age 4-grade 1), and the Wednesday Handbell Choir. A native of Holgate, Ohio, Elaine earned her Doctor of Music and Master of Music Degrees in Organ Performance and Church Music from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN.
Elaine’s hope is that through participation in our choir program, singers and ringers of all ages will continue to learn to know God in Jesus Christ, and every Sunday will make Christ known to others through our music.
