“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
St. David’s Episcopal Church helps people during all the phases of their spiritual life as a Christian. From the first steps into our community as an infant in the Sacrament of Baptism to the final journey and resting place with the Lord; St. David’s is here to help celebrate and guide you.
If you are new to the parish, please call the church office to schedule an appointment with the Rector or clergy. They would be pleased to meet with you personally to discuss your individual needs.
Baptisms
Holy Baptism is the initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ’s Body, the Church. In the Episcopal Church, Baptism is the entry rite into the Christian life. Baptism is the only requirement for joining in the Holy Eucharist and all other ministries of the Church.
Confirmation
Confirmation is the beginning of the spiritual journey to adult membership for our youth in the Episcopal Church. It is a time marked by deep exploration of the faith and how they can personally live into the mission of St. David’s Church. The Confirmation journey consists of five components: Instruction, Mentoring, Worship, Rule of Life and Outreach.
Funerals
The clergy, staff, and pastoral care team at St. David’s offer their caring support and expertise to individuals and families through those difficult days. Our love and care begins with helping to plan the service to celebrate your loved one’s life and continues afterward to help support you during the grieving process in one of our pastoral care classes.
Weddings
Marriage is a sacramental institution, given to us by God for our mutual joy and is the visible sign of the mystery of the union of love between Christ and the Church – a sign of gracious, sacrificing, faithful love. It is a lifelong commitment by two people to love, honor and cherish one another through life in faithfulness and true godliness.
