“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.”
~ Psalm 150:6
Worship is at the heart of all we do at St. David’s. From the multiple regular services on Sundays to the great services of the church year, we are a worshiping community who come together to offer our praise and prayers to God and to grow in community in the presence of the Lord. We encourage you to join us often to enter more deeply into the worship of God.

Ushers to Help
Please see any of our ushers for assistance when you come into the building. There is also a greeter at the welcome table located next to the entrance to the sanctuary in the narthex.
Have Kids?
All children are welcome during our services. Adults guide children Pre-K through 5th grade to the Choir Room for the Children’s sermon during the 9:15 a.m. service. Our Family Worship service takes place on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. Childcare is also available for ages 3 months to 5 years from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for those attending the 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. services.
Worship
St. David’s follows the services outlined in the Book of Common Prayer 1979. The services include Old & New Testament reading, a reading from the Gospel, a sermon, and traditional communion.
Holy Eucharist (Communion)
All baptized Christians are welcome to take the elements offered at the Holy Eucharist (communion). You may take both elements (bread and wine) or just one. If you would prefer not to take communion, you can remain seated, or come forward with your arms crossed to receive a blessing.
Formation
From September through April, formation for all ages takes place immediately following the 9:15 a.m. Chapel service. See the formation page for locations and topics.
After You Go
We would love to have you back next Sunday! In the meantime, stay in touch! Fill out the Get Connected form on the I’m New page.

Livestreaming and Photography NoticeÂ
When you enter a St. David’s worship service or event, you will be entering an area where photography, video, and audio recording or live streaming may occur.
St. David’s takes photographs and/or makes audio and/or video recordings of members involved in church related activities. Staff and/or participants may use such photographs or video records to recall activities or participants. In addition, such photographs and audio/visual recordings may be used in St. David’s publication and marketing materials to let others know of our ministries, and/or streaming and website hosting of worship.
By entering the Church/event premises, you consent to photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for livestreaming, promotional purposes, inclusion on web sites, and/or any other purpose by St. David’s. You release St. David’s Church, its clergy, employees, laity, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, and/or publication of photographs, computer images, video and/or sound recordings.
By entering the service/event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any exhibition, streaming, webcasting, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by St. David’s Church or the person or entity designated to do so by St. David’s. If at any time you find a photo or video on our website or YouTube channel that you prefer to have removed for privacy or safety reasons, please contact the office.
Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. worship in the Chapel and other Holy Days and special events held in the Chapel are generally livestreamed online. The stream video remains available following the service on our streaming platforms.
If you prefer not to be recognized on camera, you may sit in the back left area of pews (the nave) where the cameras generally only get a distant wide-view and Holy Eucharist (communion) will typically be only on a wide-shot where it will be difficult to recognize parishioners, though non-appearance is still not guaranteed. You may also sit in the overflow seating areas on a Holy Day.
On certain Holy Days we will also offer one service in the Chapel, which is not livestreamed, for example the 11:30 a.m. Chapel service on Easter Sunday and the 6 p.m. Chapel service on Christmas Eve.
We also encourage you to attend another service location. Services in the Church (Sundays at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.) are never streamed, nor is the Sunday Young Families Worship at 9:30 a.m. in Allen Hall. Please note there may be still photography or short video/audio clips taken in these spaces from time to time.
This is your full information of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the service/event.

Worship Service Volunteers
We are always in need of volunteers to help serve at our various Worship services. Please consider serving as an acolyte, lay assistant, or verger, as well as in either the Altar Guild, Flower Guild and Prayers of the People.
Acolytes (Grade 5 and up)
The Acolytes of St. David’s serve the clergy and congregation during services as crucifers, torchbearers, Gospel bearers, and banner bearers.
Altar Guild
The Altar Guild prepares the sanctuary for worship, and cares for the vessels, linens and vestments used in worship.
Lay Assistants
Lay Assistants support our worship services by offering selections from the Bible as Readers, leading our weekly Prayers of the People as Intercessors, and serving the Blood of Christ as Chalicists
Livestream Technicians
Are you interested in gaining valuable video production skills while making a meaningful impact on our community? We are looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with livestreaming our church worship services. Click here to learn more or contact Geoff Chamberlain to sign up.
Prayers of the People
The Prayers of the People writers prepare the prayers for weekly services and special events.
Ushers
Ushers offer hospitality to those who enter our doors, assist those needing to find a seat for worship and provide guidance at communion.
Vergers
Vergers assist the clergy during Sunday services. Training is provided and service is rotating.
Altar Flowers
Make the Church & Chapel beautiful with your gift of altar flowers on special occasions and throughout the year. These flower donations could be given in memory of a loved one who has died, in thanksgiving for a birth, or other special thanksgiving.
If you would like to honor your loved ones with flowers on a particular Sunday, please complete the form below. The suggested minimum donation is $75, but we accept donations of any amount to defray the cost of flowers that decorate the Church & Chapel throughout the year.
Please fill out the form below to submit your donation request, and someone will be in contact with you shortly with further information.
